Liberty Theatre Company is a brand new Producer of Stage Plays and Musicals and Theatrical Education Venue.
 

Originally from London, Liberty Theatre Co Founder Tim Gibbs started his creative journey at a very young age working with the English National Opera when he was just 8 years old. Tim would go on to work with the English National Opera for a further 3 years performing in shows including The Cunning Little Vixen, The Magic Flute, Carmen and Falstaff alongside Dame Kiri Te Kanawa.

Tim graduated from The Royal Academy for Dramatic Arts (RADA) with a BA in Acting and went on to get a Higher Diploma in Voice from the Royal Academy of Music.

Tim spent 3 years working professional in London's prestigious West End starring in Grease, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Oliver as well as notable professional Stage Plays. 

 

Tim's film credits include Star Wars Episode 1, Gladiator and Pride & Prejudice.

 

British TV Credits include Eastenders, The Bill and numerous BBC drama's

Since arriving in Australia Tim has starred as Chris in Miss Saigon and Gomez in The Addams Family Musical and as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables.  

 

Tim has directed over 30 stage productions most notably Into The Woods in 2017 and again in 2021.

In 2010 Tim set up Centre Stage Theatre Factory which became Encore Studios and has taught somewhere in the region of 700 students of all ages and abilities and guided them through the trials and joys of Drama and Musical Theatre. With past students gaining places in some of Australia's most prestigious theatre schools.

Tim is also a highly experienced vocal coach specialising in Contemporary, Classical and of course, Musical Theatre disciplines.
