WHO WE ARE

Liberty Theatre Company is an Independent Theatre Company and established Theatre Education Provider.

Liberty offers, through its professional performance programme, opportunities for students and Young Company members to be mentored alongside our professional artistic staff, thus developing essential transferable skills for the future.

Liberty is an inclusive theatre and education provider with a vision to support a society that enables everyone (regardless of background, ability or affluence) to flourish. Its mission is to develop a unique environment that empowers children, young people and adults to define and seek solutions to their individual, community and social challenges. Through programmes and activities facilitating education, theatre, participation, and professional training, Liberty breaks down barriers to inclusion and transforms wellbeing.

Upcoming Shows

All of our shows are open for anyone to participate regardless of experience or background. At Liberty, we do not audition for our Junior productions or drama classes and no previous experience is required to take part. Every production is filled by a first come, first served basis.

Our Junior/Kids productions are rehearsed through a series of weekly workshops which are broken into the education component where cast learn stage craft, singing, acting, movement and other theatre skills and then the show rehearsal. Each workshop lasts for 3 hours and is run on Saturdays. Extra rehearsals are typically run in the week leading up to the first performance.
